Why women’s health matters in the workplace
- Reduced absenteeism & improved performance. 70% of women in work are at risk of health issues that affect their work life, such as severe PMS or menopause symptoms (fatigue, brain fog, anxiety).
- Providing support for menopause and other life stages helps prevent skilled women from reducing their hours or leaving the workforce.
- Addressing taboos surrounding women’s health (menstruation/menopause) builds trust, psychological safety, and shows a commitment to equality.
