60 minutes (45min + 15min Q&A)
How is it hosted?
This session can be delivered either:
- In-person (at your office or chosen venue)
- Online as a live talk
It is highly interactive in both formats, using Slido to engage participants throughout.

- Tips to balance blood sugar
- Moving beyond “no-carb” myths to understand the Glycaemic Index and how to choose “slow-release” fuels.
- The role of the microbiome in improving insulin sensitivity and weight management.
- Should you try intermittent fasting?
- Sugar alternatives
What attendees will gain
- Learn how to avoid the “rollercoaster” of highs and lows that cause irritability and fatigue during the workday.
- Discover how to enjoy a varied diet without the fear of “danger foods” through smart pairing and portioning.
- Practical steps to reduce the risk of long-term diabetic complications.
Ideal for
- Workplaces where safety is paramount and blood sugar “crashes” can lead to workplace accidents.
- Organisations with a diverse demographic where the statistical prevalence of Type 2 Diabetes is higher.
- For companies looking to provide inclusive support for “invisible” chronic illnesses.
Why diabetes matters in the workplace
- Safety & cognitive function: fluctuating blood sugar can cause dizziness, blurred vision, and poor concentration, which are critical risks in many professional environments.
- Reducing long-term absence: diabetes is a leading cause of long-term health complications. Early nutritional intervention keeps employees healthy and in work for longer.
- Healthcare savings: for organisations with private medical insurance
- Inclusion & support: providing specific education for diabetes demonstrates that the organisation supports employees with chronic conditions, fostering a culture of loyalty and psychological safety.
