Most of us would admit to struggling with sugar cravings...... 10-11am or 3-4pm are the testing times. But is our body trying to tell us something and what can we do about it?
Sugar cravings could be a sign you're deficient in some nutrients - chromium (broccoli, grapes) or phosphorus (nuts, legumes, fish, grains, eggs) or tryptophan (cheese, liver, sweet potato, raisins, spinach).
A simple way to reduce the cravings is to make sure you have enough protein with each meal/snack and choose complex carbs (oats) over simple carbs (bread, pasta, rice).
